Copper fitting display

After all the great talk about SharkBite fittings and how they are a quick and easy way to fix a water line, I am stumped on the pipe sizes. What happened is when I was in Lowes, I noticed their knockoff brand called GatorBite. It comes in 1/2" and 3/4" like Sharkbite. But anyone who knows about copper and pvc knows that 1/2" is actually 5/8" OD. So, a 1/2" copper pipe will not fit inside a SharkBite fitting. You would have to use 3/8" to get a 1/2" OD since the fittings are 1/2" ID. Can someone clarify this? I tried lining up a section of 1/2 copper to the GatorBite fitting and it was exactly the same size as the sleeve. And the demo display had some pipes hanging out of the fitting that you could pull out for demonstration. The copper pipr I pulled out slid right inside a 1/2" copper line. 3/8" for sure.

ok, so heres my problem.. im in yr 8, i havent got a title 4 my science fair and its due 2morrow:\ my project was to see if a seeded copper sulfate crystal would grow better than a non-seeded copper sulfate crystal.btw, a seeded crystal is a small bit of the crystal your going 2 grow, thats been tied onto the string your growing the actual big crystal on, so it gives the big crystal a kind of 'kick start' in growing. the title needs 2 b short and sweet, coz it needs 2 fit on the display board title bit:o thanks 4 ur help:)

If portability/mobility is the top concern, get the laptop. If you want decent gaming capability, get the desktop.

I have a 17.2hh Dutch Warmblood who's 6years and I have has him for 5months. I stupidly brought him from a dealer and was given a false passport and the wrong information about him because the dealer sold him as a 10year old 16.2hh but I obviously made a mistake of buying from a dealer. When we brought him he had a massive amount of bits and scabs and has a massive scare running down the left side just I in front of the flank starting roughly the from the night of his hip and going straight down his body and round his belly and it when this happen it must have been really deep. He also has a White lump on a 10cm scar under his left breast and a few other scars on his left side, two on the inside his right hind leg and another one on his armpit. We have had his teeth done recently about 1month-2months ago and she said he couldn't grind his food well and said that was causing weight loss because of his back teeth so she sorted them out and he ate normally after that but didn't put weight on. I have had a worming talk to my saddlers (ingatestone saddlery), and they suggested to worm him on panacur 5 day equine guard and follow there schedule as I haven't wormed for 5months so I have to start this wormer late and catch up. So I wormed him with it and finished 2days ago mixing it into his feed. I am going to have a vet check because a friend of mine who is a horse expert suggested he had a thyroid problem and that he looks ill, she also said he has a stiff neck. He also has a issue when you ask for canter he lifts his head right up and keeps bucking and won't go into canter. We had his back looked at (massage) and he had two tight patches either side of his withers which are really high and she said that it shouldn't be causing a problem. We have also brought him a new saddle which was fitted correctly. Barney is very heavy up top end he has a thick neck and shoulder and then he has a skinny back end with all his ribs and hips on display and when you look from behind he had a slightly triangular bum but has muscly legs. He is a reall stunning horse now we have sorted him out but has never put weight on and has a canter problem which people reckon is discomfort somewhere. He has a John Whitaker bridle and a myler full cheek with copper roller and he seems to be fine as he plays with his bit but the dentist said it's fine and causing no problems. His feet are good aswell he has 4 shoes and is done every 4-6weeks by my farrier. He eats. 4 stubs scoops (big round scoop like a bowl) of dengie Alfa a oil chaff 4 small scoops of baileys topline conditioning mix 10 small scoops dengie Alfa beet We split into 2 feeds as we keep him out our friends yard and is difficult getting there more than 2 times a day. We was recommended this by a few people but isn't helping. Barney is a very overexcitable horse anyway even if he's thin, sweats buckets when riding just trotting but might be due to being soo excited he like trots/canters on the spot and swings his quarters round and leaps in the air. He is always on the bit aswell. when he isn't being ridden he is a friendly horse but is also really moody and flares his nostrils and buts his ears back and does bite really hard purposely sometimes. He is also really protective over food and kicks out going near it. He has lots of grass and hasn't had hay because our farmer we buy it off hasn't sorted any out for us yet. He doesn't buck as much now it's only in the school but always wants to canter on rides. Does anyone know what could possibly be wrong with him? He's a gelding and he is always hungry. Sorry it doesn't all make sense my iPad kept changing words!

I have no idea. But I think that that horse had a hard life before and its great you rescued him!
